Dr Damian Millar & Dr Natasha Down -musculoskeletal chiropractors

We are Launceston Chiropractors not limiting ourselves to just chiropractic. Originally from Geelong VIC [Go CATS!], Damian graduated in 1996 from RMIT (Chiro). Natasha [Go TIGERS!] graduated from RMIT in 2000 (Chiro). In 2011 we returned to Natasha’s birth city of Launceston [go CITY!] with our 2 children, establishing Combining Chiropractic Launceston. Over our many years of practice & marriage, in addition to traditional chiropractic, we have added diagnostic & therapeutic techniques from outside of the chiropractic profession, rather from within. We began to realise that chiropractic by itself has a limited diagnostic & therapeutic scope. Only when combined with approaches from osteopathy, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, massage & medicine do you diagnose with accuracy & treat with efficiency. We are passionate in our belief that by combining these varied techniques the end result is greater than their sum. Our strong belief is that complex musculo-skeletal pain patterns need an accurate diagnosis & based on that diagnosis correct application of varied direct & indirect techniques. This yields results where practitioners limited to a single modality / profession in the past have failed.

Information

Initial Treatment
Allow 1 hour. Includes history, examination, diagnosis, if required; referral for imaging & appropriate therapy for an evidence based, medical diagnosis.

Subsequent Treatments
Allow 30 minutes. Includes appropriate therapy, adjunctive exercises & progress marker testing. Therapy & advice changes as does the syndrome being treated.

Availability
Monday-Friday 8.30am-6.30pm.
Saturday 8.30am-12.30pm

HICAPS
BUPA Members First network participants.
All Private Health Insurers covered for chiropractic.
Able to treat under MAIB & Veteran Affairs & Medicare with a GP referral.
